Barbecue season returns as United Church of Sandwich plans pork chop meal

United Church of Sandwich will host a pork chop barbecue drive-thru event from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, May 2.

Meals include two pork chops, baked beans, coleslaw, applesauce and roll. Master grillers Matt Olson and Ron Henrich will cook the pork chops.

Tickets cost $15 and can be bought from UCS members or at Balloons Aloft, 704 E. Church St. in Sandwich, 815-786-6226; or from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the UCS office, 512 Lions Road, 815-786-9243.
