Turkey Testicle Festival returning to Huntley ahead of Thanksgiving

Huntley visitors and residents once again will be able to enjoy a local Thanksgiving favorite, as the Turkey Testicle Festival returns following a year off.

From 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Nov. 24, the day before Thanksgiving, attendees will be able to enjoy live music while snacking on turkey testicles as a pre-Thanksgiving turkey appetizer. The event takes place at Parkside Pub at 11721 Main St. in Huntley.

Tickets are available online for those looking for special access, but general admission tickets can be bought at the door for $20.

This year is the 39th that the festival is being held. The event will have 1,200 pounds of turkey testicles for sale and to eat, along with additional food.

It also features four bands who will play throughout the day: Voyage, 7th Heaven, Modern Day Romeos and Libido Funk Circus.

Festival attendees must be age 21 years or older to attend.

Information on how to buy special tickets in advance can be found on the restaurant’s website, parksidepub.com/ttf. Information about the event can be found on Parkside Pub’s Facebook page.
