Batavia VFW and Auxiliary Post 1197 will present the annual Fall Family Festival at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at 645 S. River Road (Route 25). Admission is free to the event, which is open to the public.
According to a news release, the festival will feature games for children, pumpkin carving and decorating, a turkey shoot, raffles, costume pickup, first responder vehicles and live music.
Games for children include Bozo buckets, sack races and an egg on a spoon race. Children also will be able to select a free Halloween costume.
For adults, there’s bags and horseshoes.
Live music by Cirrus Falcon will start at 3 p.m., while Duke’s Dogs will have hot food available for purchase, the release stated.
