Waterpark to feature new six-lane water slide

The largest waterpark in Illinois is set to open for the summer this weekend, with tickets on sale for Raging Waves Waterpark in Yorkville.

The park opens at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 5. The Australian-themed attraction also features a new ride this season, the Aussie Mat Dash. The six-lane water racer is one of only three similar rides in the world, according to the park’s website.

The park, located at 4000 N. Bridge St. (Route 47), opened briefly last July during the pandemic, and is still following local health guidelines, per its website at ragingwaves.com.
