After sharing its first sneak peek at some of the newly added and rescheduled shows for its upcoming 2021-22 season, Raue Center is now ready to announce even more events coming to the lineup.

Originally scheduled for November 2020, Colin Mochrie of “Whose Line Is It, Anyway?” fame will present “HYPROV: Improv under Hypnosis,” featuring master hypnotist Asad Mecci at 8 p.m. Nov.13. These two brilliant minds will combine to provide a brand new, mind-blowing show where 20 volunteers are hypnotized while on stage. The five best will then perform hilarious improv scenes with Colin Mochrie while still under hypnosis.
MasterChef Junior LIVE! has been rescheduled for Nov. 20, 2021, at 7 p.m. This high-energy, interactive stage production has extended its U.S. tour due to popular demand, bringing the culinary hit TV show “MasterChef Junior” directly to fans and foodies, live on stage. The family-friendly show features fun and sometimes messy cooking demonstrations and challenges with former “MasterChef Junior” contestants for audiences of all ages.
The Elgin Symphony Orchestra has been rescheduled; its new performance date will be 8 p.m. Dec. 10, 2021. Celebrate the holidays with the ESO and its “Holiday Spectacular” show at Raue Center. The ESO, unmatched for quality music and a fun, relaxing cultural experience, offers world-class, big-city entertainment without the hassle of visiting the big city.
“We’re excited to reopen with a focus on fall of 2021,” said Richard Kuranda, executive director of Raue Center. “This season marks our 20th anniversary, and we’re happy to be able to welcome our community back into our theater for some incredible entertainment. We’ll ensure the space will be safe for all audiences and artists.”
