Jocelyn Paige Louis, the daughter of Joe and Jill Louis of Putnam, and Taylor Michael Carr, the son of Shane Carr and Robbie Carr of Henry, were united in marriage Sept. 5 at St. Mary’s Church in Henry.

Father Tom Mizeur officiating the ceremony. Austin Kocher and Holden Mercer, cousins of the bride, gave the readings. Camilla Russell, aunt of the groom, and Brian Kocher, cousin of the bride, provided the music accompanied by Sue Hulin.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor-length fit and flare lace gown with a chapel-length train. The lace gown had eyelash fringe with scalloped lace across the neckline as well as the entire hemline with matching lace-covered buttons down the back. The dress was adorned with a pearl and crystal beaded belt with a floor-length sash. The brides carried a bouquet of ivory roses, hydrangeas and baby’s breath. Kate Padabinski was the bride’s personal attendant.

The maid of honor was Katelyn McKean. Bridesmaids were Tara Carr, Ashley Brewer, Rachel Kempf, Chelsey Kempf and Riley Carr. They wore floor-length, black, strapless chiffon gowns.

Christian Carr and Jarrod Holler were the best men. Groomsmen were Nate Louis, Nick Carr, Keegan Schmidt and Holdyn Carr. Ushers were Tyler Richards, Dusty Lou, Trent Wilkinson, Tyler Wright and Ian Steele.

A reception was held following the wedding at Wise Guys Banquet Facility in Princeton. The hosts and hostesses were John and Wendy Louis, and Kathi and Terri Fausnaught.

The bride is a graduate of Henry-Senachwine High School and St. Francis Medical Center College of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She currently is a charge nurse and staff nurse on the orthopedic floor at OSF in Peoria.

The groom is a graduate of Henry-Senachwine High School and attended Heartland Community College in Bloomington. He is currently employed at Smith Construction in Henry.

The couple will take a wedding trip to Cancun and will reside in Henry.
