Batavia defeated St. Charles North 36-29 in 2OT

It wasn’t the cleanest of Batavia performances, but the Bulldogs did just enough to slip past St. Charles North. Star running back Jalen Buckley missed the second half with an injury, but the North Stars rallied back to force OT.

Geneva defeated Lake Park 14-6

Geneva became eligible for the postseason for the first time in six years. The Vikings earned a score with 8:16 in the fourth quarter to help seal the deal.

St. Francis defeated IC Catholic 19-7

The Spartans scored two touchdowns in the second half and ultimately spoiled IC’s bid for an undefeated regular season.

Kaneland defeated LaSalle-Peru

Kaneland fell behind 7-0 early, but then scored 41 points after that. Troyer Carlson had seven touchdown passes.

Marmion defeated De La Salle 54-15

Marmion ran for 133 yards on the ground while holding De La Salle without any for the game. Danny Chung had four touchdown passes, two to Dane Pardridge.

Wheaton North defeated St. Charles East 43-21

Burlington Central defeated McHenry 30-13
