Oswego sophomore Dontrell Young, who medaled in the 100, 200 and 400-meter dashes at the Class 3A state track meet, is the Record Newspapers boys track and field Athlete of the Year.

Sandwich junior Sunny Weber, who repeated as Class 2A 3,200-meter run state champion and also won the 1,600 in a state record time, is the Record Newspapers girls track and field Athlete of the Year.
