Oswego East junior Dshaun Bolden is off to a huge start in his first full varsity season, and he continued to impress Friday. Bolden had 17 points and seven rebounds and DePaul recruit Mason Lockett 16 points and seven rebounds in a 62-28 win over visiting Plainfield North.

The Oswego football team played Mount Carmel Saturday to decide the IHSA Class 8A state championship in Huskie Stadium at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb.

The Ottawa boys basketball team used a key 14-2 run midway through the third quarter in a 58-46 victory over Sandwich on Tuesday night at Kingman Gymnasium.

Thanks to a third-quarter offensive outburst led by Jadyn Long, Plano turned a back-and-forth battle with Sandwich into a no-doubt victory on Tuesday.
