Newark softball scored three runs in the sixth and three in the seventh to rally for a win at Coal City, Oswego East baseball finished off a sweep of Bolingbrook and Plano baseball and Oswego, Oswego East, Sandwich and Yorkville softball were all winners in Thursday's roundup.

Yorkville senior Nick Parashis continued to make the most of his move from the bottom of the order to leadoff Thursday, going 3 for 4 and driving in the eventual game-winning run as the Foxes beat visiting Oswego 4-3 to sweep the three-game series.
