The Lincoln-Way March Band will perform in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday in New York City.

The marching band had been selected for the 2020 parade which was delayed a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to District 210.

About 200 students from across the district will participate in this year’s parade. They will be performing their competition piece titled “Metamorphosis.”

Each year, more than 50 million watch the parade from around the country, according to Macy’s. The company decided to throw its first parade in 1924.

The 95th parade will air on NBC from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday.
