Romeoville, Bolingbrook High School seniors invited ‘tailgate’ college fair Sept. 18

Students can receive on-the-spot admission, start financial aid process

High school seniors in Valley View School District 365U will be able to get information on several colleges at a “tailgate” admissions event next month.

Seniors at Romeoville and Bolingbrook High School can receive on-the-spot admission, potentially receive scholarships and establish their Federal Student Aid ID, the first step to complete the federal application for financial aid, according to a news release.

The district said the college event will have a “tailgate” atmosphere. The event will take place in Bolingbrook High School’s south parking lot from noon to 4 p.m. on Sept. 18. There will be food and prizes.

There are 13 colleges and universities confirmed to meet with Valley View seniors. The district said registration for the event will be open by next week.
