Lockport Chamber, city seek residents’ feedback on Old Canal Days

Residents, attendees can give their thoughts in an online survey

The Lockport Chamber of Commerce and the city of Lockport are asking residents and attendees of the annual Old Canal Days to give their feedback on the event.

A survey is available on the chamber’s website at lockportchamber.com through Aug. 27, according to a news release. The survey takes approximately three minutes to complete.

The city said input gathered through the survey will help shape the planning for future years.

Old Canal Days was held last month after being cancelled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was held in a new location this year north on the former Chevron property on Second Street.

The city said in the news release the longstanding Old Canal Days ”is a reflection of the city’s history and celebration of the I&M Canal’s contributions to the city and the Midwest region.”
