Eisenhower Academy in Joliet has openings for 2022-2023 school year

Joliet Public Schools District 86 is now taking applications for Eisenhower Academy for the 2022-2023 school year, according to a news release from the district.

Eisenhower Academy has approximately 48 openings for first grade and a limited number of openings for second through fifth grades. Students who demonstrate average or above academic achievement and positive behavior may be eligible, the release said.

Families would incur no additional fees since the program is with the Joliet public school system. However, students must live within the boundaries of Joliet Public Schools District 86, the release said.

Eisenhower Academy was named a National Blue Ribbon School in 2016. U.S. News & World Report also recently named Eisenhower Academy No. 12 in Illinois elementary schools in U.S. News & World Report, the release said.

Applications are due March 23, 2022.
