A Saturday night shooting in Bolingbrook left two wounded, police said.
About 8 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to Fernwood Drive for a report of a person who had been shot, Bolingbrook police said in a news release.
Officers found two people with gunshot wounds, police said. They were later taken to a hospital for treatment.
Initial reports indicated the two were shot on their property outside their home and the suspect fled on foot, police said.
“Early indications are that this is an isolated incident and there is no immediate danger to the community,” police said.
