Joliet police respond to snake on road

Snake recovered by owner when officers arrived, police said

A snake that was on a road in the far west side of Joliet led to multiple calls to the police.

The snake was seen on Monday on Theodore Road near Pheasant Landing Drive, according to Joliet police Sgt. Dwayne English.

“By the time officers arrived, the owner of the snake had arrived and recovered the snake,” police said.

He said the police department had received multiple calls about it.
