Bolingbrook man arrested on child porn charges

Illinois State Police Zone 3 investigation led to man’s arrest

A Bolingbrook man was arrested on child pornography charges.

About 10:45 a.m. Thursday, Christian Rousseau-Zablockij, 28, of the 200 block of Seabury Road was taken to the Will County jail and booked on three counts of possession of child pornography.

Rousseau-Zablockij’s arrest was the result of an investigation by officers with Illinois State Police Zone 3.

State police initiated the investigation “after receiving information Rousseau-Zablockij was allegedly engaged in possession of child pornography,” according to an Illinois State Police news release.

“A thorough investigation ensued, and a search warrant was executed on Rousseau-Zablockij’s residence,” police said. “During the warrant execution, investigators seized evidence supporting an arrest for child pornography.”

Rousseau-Zablockij was then taken into custody.

Earlier this month, convicted Shorewood sex offender Cordale Hallin, 32, was arrested on new child pornography charges after an investigation by Illinois State Police Zone 3.

Hallin has not yet been taken to jail. He remains at the northern reception center at Stateville Correctional Center in Crest Hill, according to the Illinois Department of Corrections.

In April, a state police investigation led to the arrest of Lockport resident Anthony Leonardi, 49, on child pornography charges.

Leonardi was released from jail after he posted 10% of his $150,000 bond. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is scheduled to appear for a pretrial hearing on June 4.
