Multi-vehicle crash leads to injuries on I-80 near New Lenox

A crash involving multiple vehicles occurred on Interstate 80 near New Lenox.

About 5:30 a.m. on Monday, troopers responded to the westbound lanes of I-80 near New Lenox for a multi-vehicle crash with injuries, according to Illinois State Police.

All westbound lanes the area are down as a result.

The investigation is in its infancy and no further information is available, police said.
