Daniels has come right out of the gate firing at the pins. She shot a 73 to win medalist honors at the Homewood-Flossmoor Invitational, establishing a personal best for 18 holes. She followed that by posting a 37 to establish a personal best for nine holes in a meet against Oswego East.

Claire DuBois, Lincoln-Way Central, sr.:

She followed that with an even better round of 82 at the Champaign Centennial Sectional, where she tied for 12th.

Kaylee Dwyer, Lincoln-Way West, So.

Dwyer was a sectional qualifier last season with a strong effort in the Minooka Regional and then stepped up her game to finish in a tie for fourth in the Champaign Centennial Sectional by shooting a 77. She has picked up where she left off to start this season, winning medalist honors at the Lincoln-Way Cup.

Lauren McPhillips-Newcomb, Minooka, so.

McPhillips put together a strong round in snagging an individual sectional qualifier slot at a difficult Minooka Regional with a round of 89. With another year of experience, McPhillips hopes to be in the mix for more postseason success.
