Lockport locked up the WJOL Tournament championship with authority in Joliet on Saturday with a commanding 61-38 victory over Bradley-Bourbonnais at the Sullivan Center.
Alex Vassilakis led the Porters (3-0) with 14 points and nine rebounds in the title game, Julius Smith added 13 points, five rebounds and five steals and Anthony Munson added 11 points.
Minooka 70, Romeoville 54: At Joliet, Minooka pulled away from the Spartans with an excellent second half to secure third place at the WJOL Tournament.
Ricky Hill, Jr. led Minooka with 22 points, Trevor Hudak scored 17 points and Adrian Manning chipped in 13 points.
Lemont 37, Providence 21: At Joliet, Lemont came out on top in a low-scoring WJOL Tournament matchup to earn fifth place.
Nojus Indrusaitis led Lemont with 12 points and Rokas Castillo scored 10.
Dwight 72, St. Bede 69: At Streator, the Trojans (3-1) came out on top in a close one to secure third place in the Route 17 Classic.
Wyatt Thompson led all scorers with 29 points in the win, Jeremy Kapper added 16 points and Landon Brown scored 10.
