Lockport picked up a 25-19, 25-14 girls volleyball win against Minooka on Monday in Minooka.
Lindsay Oldendorf led Lockport (10-6) with seven kills, Cameryn DeBlecourt had 17 assists, and Ava Theoharis added 13 digs.
Emma Harper had six kills and six digs for Minooka, Ashlyn Berczynski had 16 digs, and Anna Baranski had nine assists and eight digs.
BOYS GOLF
Illinois Central Eight Conference Tournament: At Wolf Creek, Peotone took third place with a team score of 372, Coal City took fourth (379), Reed-Custer was fifth (383), and Wilmington was seventh (466).
Reed-Custer’s Eli Schaeffer finished in a three-way tie for third place on the individual scoreboard to earn all-tournament honors.
GIRLS GOLF
Illinois Central Eight Conference Tournament: At Wolf Creek, Wilmington earned a conference crown, while Coal City took second place, Peotone finished fifth, and Reed-Custer took sixth.
Reed-Custer’s Makayla Wilkins tied for the top score with an 87 and was awarded all-tournament honors, and Peotone’s Katie Spivak also earned all-tournament status. She finished third on the individual leaderboard with a 100.
