Connor Jenkins scored the game-winning basket, as Lincoln-Way West edged host Stagg, 50-48, in Southwest Suburban Conference boys basketball action Friday night.
Jenkins finished with 14 points to lead all scorers. Ethan O’Connor poured in 12 points for the Warriors, and Mason Neville and Reagan King each had eight.
Kankakee 60, Lincoln-Way Central 58: At Lincoln-Way Central, the host Knights lost the nonconference contest, despite Nick Tingley’s 26 points.
James Ogrodnik (12 points) and Joe Barrett (10) also scored in double figures for Lincoln-Way Central (6-5).
Plainfield South 61, Yorkville 45: At Yorkville, the Cougars came away with a Southwest Prairie win.
Carmel 60, Joliet Catholic 59: At Carmel, Alex Brown had 21 points to lead the Hilltoppers (2-7) in their East Suburban Catholic Conference loss.

Joliet West 61, Plainfield North 43: At Plainfield North, the Tigers won in Southwest Prairie Conference play to improve to 8-1.
Dwight 65, Lexington 56: At Dwight, Brandon Ceylor scored 15 of his game-high 23 points in the first quarter helping the Trojans race to a 21-15 lead en route to the nonconference win.
Ceylor sank five 3-pointers, and Isaac Telford hit a pair. Telford and Alex Rieke finished with 12 and 11 points, respectively, for Dwight.
Streator 63, Coal City 45: At Coal City, the Coalers fell to 3-6, while the visitors improved to 9-3.
Jack Haynes had 16 points for Streator, which grabbed a 25-8 lead after one quarter and was up 37-19 at halftime.
Coal City received nine points from Kyle Burch, eight apiece from Cason Headley and Carson Shepard, and seven from Riley Ponio.
Minooka 52, Romeoville 36: At Minooka, the host Indians won the Southwest Prairie Conference game.
Lemont 77, Tinley Park 45: At Lemont, Kyle Kostes scored 19 points for the Indians, who improved to 9-1.
Gardner-South Wilmington 59, Grant Park 49: At Gardner-South Wilmington, Connor Steichen had 34 points, six rebounds and three assists, as the Panthers clinched a share of the River Valley Conference title.
Caydan Landry added eight points, four rebounds and five assists for the GSW (9-5, 9-0, and Garrett Grant had seven points and four boards.
Herscher 49, Peotone 40: The Blue Devils fell in Illinois Central Eight action despite 11 points apiece from Ben Balmer and Mason Kibelkis.

Joliet West 61, Plainfield North 43: At Joliet West, the host Tigers were led by Lisa Thompson’s 32 points and Grace Walsh’s 21.
Joliet Central 58, Oswego 34: At Oswego, Jalysa Stokes tossed in 21 points and Lovely Tua Link scored 12 during the win for Central.
Oswego East 64, Plainfield East 60: At Plainfield: Taylor French provided 15 points and Kya Creal added 13, but it wasn’t enough for the Bengals to overcome Oswego East.
Plainfield Central 48, West Aurora 46: At Plainfield, the Wildcats came away with a two-point victory in Southwest Prairie play on Senior Night.
