Forecast: Dixon on the storm line

DAVENPORT, Iowa — A line of storms stretching east of a line from Dixon to Macomb is possible Tuesday afternoon, The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities forecast.

The service said this storm line presents a marginal risk. The primary threats are strong wind gusts and lightning during a period between 3 and 7 p.m.

In Iowa, the Wapsipinicon River is experiencing flooding.

For the remainder of the week, the probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.
