Fire ‘heavily damages’ two homes on Hubbell in Dixon

DIXON – Firefighters were called to a fire this afternoon on Hubbell Drive in Dixon that “heavily damaged” two single-story homes, Dixon City Fire Chief Ryan Buskohl said.

The blaze start around 2:45 p.m. at 207 Hubbell and spread to 301 Hubbell, Buskohl said.

No one was injured, and the fire was out by 6 p.m.

Hubbell is behind the Galena Avenue Steakhouse.

The cause is being investigated.
