Sterling Public Library Summer kickoff on Saturday will have flower planting at 10 a.m. and Pride Storytime with PFLAG, at 11:30 a.m.
Sizzling Summer Block Party will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Plaza North in Dixon. Activities for children and families include Miller’s Petting Zoo and Dixon Line Dancers.
Sharon and the ShareAlike’s Pre-Pride Drag Show will be 9 p.m. Saturday at the Dixon VFW Post 540, 1560 Illinois 38, Dixon. Tickets are $25 and attendees must be 21 years or older. A $1 from each ticket will be donated to Dixon Pride. For questions, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
