Steam Irish Quartet and glass artist Molly Neuhauser, 6 p.m., Thursday at Dixon Stage Left, 306 West 1st Street, Dixon. Re-imagined arrangements of exuberant jigs and reels as well as quiet, soulful melodies from the West coast of Ireland and beyond create a unique expression of the ever-evolving folk music tradition. Neuhauser incorporates found objects into sculptural glass pieces. Tickets are $30.

Talent show, 6:30 p.m. Friday, 417 Main Street, Savanna. Teens and older have a chance to show off your performance passions in singing, juggling, storytelling, comedy, magic tricks. Call 815-590-1792.

A “Rock’n’Roll Tribute from Elvis to The Beatles” featuring the Neverly Brothers performs 11:20 a.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, March 31 for a lunch buffet matinee at White Pines Inn, Mt. Morris. Call 815-655-2400, ext. 3. Tickets start at $47.

Sterling Public Library presents an evening with Jenny Lawson, 7 p.m. Wednesday. Lawson is a humorist who will discuss her latest work, “Broken (in the Best Possible Way).” Lawson is a journalist and blogger who shares her struggle with mental illness.
