DIXON – It was a strong start to the week for the Dixon boys basketball team. No case of the Monday blahs here.

The Dukes hit eight of their first 10 shots, building a double-digit lead less than two minutes into their Big Northern Conference game against Mendota, and never looked back in a 76-49 win at Lancaster Gym.
