Vaccine update: Sauk Valley administers 131 doses Tuesday

The Sauk Valley administered an additional 131 coronavirus vaccine doses Tuesday, and 69 more people became fully vaccinated.

Whiteside County has administered 44,138 total doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, with 22,213 people (39.93%) fully vaccinated. Lee County has had 29,797 doses, with 15,084 people (44.08%) fully vaccinated. Carroll County has administered 9,534 vaccine doses, with 5,020 people (35.08%) fully vaccinated. Ogle County has had 41,286 doses, with 20,465 people (40.19%) fully vaccinated.

There have been 124,755 doses administered and 62,713 people fully vaccinated across Whiteside, Lee, Carroll and Ogle counties.

The Illinois Department of Public Health reported a total of 12,260,505 COVID-19 vaccines administered.

The state has administered 21,958 shots, and 5,965,150 people in Illinois have been fully vaccinated, or 46.82%.
