Vaccine update: Sauk Valley administers 251 doses Thursday

The Sauk Valley administered an additional 251 coronavirus vaccine doses Thursday, and 158 more people became fully vaccinated.

Whiteside County has administered 43,772 total doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, with 21,984 people (39.52%) fully vaccinated. Lee County has had 29,533 doses, with 14,906 people (43.56%) fully vaccinated. Carroll County has administered 9,493 vaccine doses, with 4,991 people (34.87%) fully vaccinated. Ogle County has had 40,875 doses, with 20,194 people (39.66%) fully vaccinated.

There have been 123,763 doses administered and 62,075 people fully vaccinated across Whiteside, Lee, Carroll and Ogle counties.

The Illinois Department of Public Health reported a total of 12,070,091 COVID-19 vaccines administered.

The state administered 38,268 shots, and 5,871,511 of the population of Illinois have been fully vaccinated, or 46.08%.
