Vaccine update: Sauk Valley administers 368 doses Friday

The Sauk Valley administered an additional 368 coronavirus vaccine doses Friday, and 272 more people became fully vaccinated.

Whiteside County has administered 43,136 total doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, with 21,554 people (38.75%) fully vaccinated. Lee County has had 29,248 doses, with 14,703 people (42.96%) fully vaccinated. Carroll County has administered 9,433 vaccine doses, with 4,949 people (34.58%) fully vaccinated. Ogle County had 40,275 doses, with 19,819 people (38.92%) fully vaccinated.

The Illinois Department of Public Health reported a total of 11,863,456 COVID-19 vaccines administered.

For Thursday, the state administered 42,083 shots, and 5,705,969 of the population of Illinois have been fully vaccinated, or 44.78%.
