New gallery will be installed at Sauk Valley Community College

Sauk Valley Community College will host a reception 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 6 for artist Debbie Thompson at the SVCC Art Gallery. Thompson’s gallery, “Paintings and Constructions,” will be featured. Various works — including her 1986 mixed-media shadow box piece “Basic Construction” — will be installed and run through Dec. 3. Both the exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.
