Registration ongoing for Rock Falls-Sterling Fiesta Parade participants

STERLING – Registration is ongoing for the 68th annual Fiesta Parade, which will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18. Visit www.saukvalleyareachamber.com to register for the parade online.

The Sauk Valley Area Chamber of Commerce Hispanic Business Leaders Committee is encouraging entrants to incorporate Hispanic culture in their parade presentation.

The parade will begin on 10th Street in Rock Falls. The parade will travel north on First Avenue and cross the First Avenue bridge into Sterling. At the base of the bridge, the parade will travel north on Locust Street to 4th Street and end at the Grandon Civic Center.

Food vendors will be located throughout downtown Sterling and Rock Falls during the festival.
