Pork chops on the menu Friday at Dixon Legion

DIXON – The Dixon American Legion will serve a dine-in or carry-out pork chop dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, or until food runs out, at its hall at 1120 First St.

Also on the menu are au gratin potatoes, vegetables, roll, salad and dessert, for $10.

Proceeds benefit Legion-supported programs.

Call 815-284-2003 by 4 p.m. Wednesday, and specify if the meal is carry-out or dine-in to ensure enough food for all. Walk-ins are welcome, but the meals usually are gone or spoken for by 4 p.m. Friday or so.

Next week’s entrée is roast beef for $10.
