WASHINGTON – U.S. Rep. Cheri Bustos, D-East Moline will host a virtual Town Hall on the COVID-19 vaccine at 1 p.m. Wednesday at facebook.com/RepCheri, during which she and health officials will answer questions about the vaccination process and when and where vaccines will be available.

She will be joined by Monica Hendrickson, Peoria’s Public Health administrator, and Sandy Salverson, vice president of Pharmacy Operations at OSF HealthCare.

Bustos, Hendrickson and Salverson will answer as many questions as possible. Submit questions in advance at www.bustos.house.gov.

“The COVID-19 vaccine will allow us to move forward, get our arms around this pandemic and build our economy back better,” Bustos said in a news release. “As we prepare for greater distribution, I invite Illinoisans to join our virtual Town Hall on Facebook Live to hear from local health professionals directly and have their questions about the COVID-19 vaccine answered. If you or a loved one have a question about the process, I encourage you to submit it by visiting my website.”
