Savanna man, 24, accused of having sex with two underage girls

MOUNT CARROLL – A 24-year-old Savanna man is facing two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, accused of having sex with two girls older than 13 but younger that 17.

Levi E. Behrens could face 3 to 7 years in prison on each charge if convicted.

According to the probable cause affidavit, one girl interviewed Feb. 24 told investigators she and Behrens were in a relationship and had had sex several times at his home.

Behrens was interviewed March 2 and admitted to having sex with both girls, and was arrested, the affidavit said.

He was in Carroll County jail Wednesday on $25,000 bond.
