Ring in the New Year at Raue Center for the Arts!

If you’re wondering how to spend New Year’s Eve this year, Raue Center for the Arts is offering two great options! You can choose an afternoon of comedy or an evening of music, or for those truly wanting to celebrate, attend both!

On December 31st at 3 p.m., Lucy’s Comedy will present Steve Cochran’s New Year’s Eve Comedy Show, featuring Mike Toomey, John DaCosse, and Tim Benker. This terrific afternoon of comedy is geared towards early birds who would love to enjoy a fun performance long before midnight comes around. The solid lineup that features headliner Steve Cochran of Radio 720 WGN offers some of the funniest stand-up comedians around! The recommended age for audience members is 18+.

Also on December 31st, but at 8 p.m., American English will take the Raue Center stage to offer a glimpse into The Beatles’ vast history book! This terrific tribute band returns with another great twist on The Beatles’ music with their version of the A Hard Day’s Night album, followed by their spin on the Let It Be album.

American English is simply the best Beatles tribute story of our time. Early on, the band was voted #1 by thousands of Beatles fans at sound-alike contests at Beatlefest® for three consecutive years. The band has also won “Illinois Entertainer of the Year” and has been voted “Best Tribute Band” three of the last four years by fans in the Chicagoland area. The recommended age for audience members is 12+.
