Raue Center’s School of the Arts is Coming Soon!

It’s no secret that arts education offers huge benefits to students of all ages. Research has shown that younger students of the arts develop increased self-confidence, better communication skills, and improved cognition. Older students benefit in these areas as well, and in addition can maintain social connections, enjoy a pleasurable pastime, and even produce artworks that can be sold to supplement reduced income after retirement. Research has also noted that older adults who engage in creating art benefit from fewer falls and other injuries, and fewer doctor visits. Students of every age develop an understanding and appreciation for art, along with the ability to create it.

As Raue Center for the Arts celebrates its 20th anniversary, this wonderful organization is looking to the next 20 years and beyond, striving to create a welcoming place where students of all ages can let their creativity soar!

Classes in a wide variety of art categories will be offered for adults and youth, including private, semi-private, and group workshops. Masterclasses with industry professionals will also be available.

Private and group lessons in Piano, Guitar, Ukulele, and more will be offered, along with both private and semi-private coaching sessions in Dance and Acting (along with Film and On-camera workshops). You can enjoy private Voice lessons with Alayna DeVar (formerly of Paramount School of the Arts and Celebrity Cruise Lines). You can sing your heart out with Musical Theatre Ensembles, which will offer two new vocal groups, one for kids and one for adults, that focus on Broadway ensemble vocal performance. All this will be offered, along with the Sage Studio educational programs that you know and love!
