Letter: A lesson learned from the polio vaccine

To the Editor:

Way back when all of us got the polio vaccine, we didn’t get polio. Amazing. Did Mom and Dad say, “No way, it is not good for us”? No, because it worked. Every member of the military gets shots to keep them safe. Think about that. And those of you over age 70 know what I am talking about.
