Letter: Goals aren’t achieved through violence

To the Editor:

All lives matter. George Floyd didn’t deserve to die, but his death did start an uprising of rioting and looting. However, many police officers have been killed in the line of duty or quit. Goals aren’t achieved through violence.

This country is in a very serious situation. Why can’t the Democrats work with the Republicans for the common good? Don’t Democrats know what democracy is?

We have hundreds of thousands crossing over the borders because they were invited by President Joe Biden. He also wants to pack the Supreme Court with 13 judges so he will have complete control.

Years ago, Russian leader Nikita Khrushchev stated: “We will bury you – not with bombs but from within.” That’s exactly what’s happening.

President Biden has his socialist followers – Pelosi, Harris, Schumer. Socialism doesn’t belong in America.

They want to close our churches to prevent our rights of worship, which is part of our First Amendment.

They continue to fund Planned Parenthood, which aborts babies.

I really fear for the future. What kind of a world are we leaving for our children? We want a peaceful and happy life for them.

I will continue to pray to our Heavenly Father for peace and hope.
