Letter: Write-in candidate Jennifer Sargent for District 158 school board

keyboard

As the proud parent of two young adults who have graduated from District 158, and a long-term resident of the area, I am completely committed to the success of our school district. With the school board elections coming up, I have been very interested in the impact that all of the candidates could make on our district. After careful consideration, I am proud to say that I will be supporting write-in candidate Jennifer Sargent on April 6. With a degree in Elementary & Early Childhood Education, working toward a master’s degree in Early Childhood Administration, owning a daycare, her extensive volunteering within the community, and much more, I believe she has more than enough knowledge and experience to be an effective member of the school board.

Jennifer’s campaign website and Facebook page give you plenty of information on her qualifications, as well as show you her caring attitude and willingness to listen and learn. She is open to questions at any time, and if she doesn’t have an answer for you, she will do the research necessary to get you an answer. It is clear she is ready to serve our community and work with other board. members to create meaningful change. With a district of several thousand students, it is imperative that we choose a person that is up to the task of creating a vision that includes the needs and interests of each and every child. I believe strongly that she is that person. Please join me in supporting write-in candidate Jennifer Sargent for the District 158 School Board.
