Letter: U.S. Rep. Adam Kinzinger should become a Democrat

U.S. Rep. Adam Kinzinger has earned the wrath of the Trumpists for supporting disgraced, former president Donald Trump’s impeachment. Catalina Lauf, who lost the last Republican primary in the 14th district, has announced a primary challenge against Rep. Kinzinger in his 16th district.Ms.Lauf is a Trump supporter who has called Rep. Kinzinger a RINO (Republican In Name Only). Since the Republican Party has devolved into a cult that worships at the feet of Trump and has no plans other than to stay in power, I say Rep. Kinzinger should shed the Party of No, and join the Democratic Party. We can always use a man of integrity in our big tent. I’m guessing he would crush Ms. Lauf, or any Republican candidate in the general election.
