Harvard

Rigoberto Rojas-Ramirez, 28, of the 800 block of West Thompson Street, Harvard, was charged Monday, Jan. 4, with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured vehicle, illegal transportation of alcohol by the driver and resisting a police officer. He posted bond and was released.

Christian Villareal, 27, of the 800 block of McKinnley Street, Harvard, was arrested Wednesday, Jan. 6, on a McHenry County warrant for predatory criminal sexual assault. Villareal was taken to the McHenry County Jail in lieu of bond.

Nicholas A. Lopez, 25, of the 500 block of Whitmore Drive, McHenry, was arrested Saturday, Jan. 9, on a McHenry County warrant for failure to appear in court on a previous battery charge. Lopez was also charged with resisting a police officer and aggravated battery. He was taken to the McHenry County Jail in lieu of bond.

Mardoqueo Vasquez-Ortiz, 36, of the 100W block of Front Street, Harvard, was charged Saturday, Jan. 9, with three counts of criminal sexual assault, three counts of sexual relations within families and two counts of domestic battery. Vasquez-Ortiz was taken to the McHenry County Jail in lieu of bond.

Huntley

Juan Francisco Lopez Jr., 32, of the 14N900 block of Romke Road, Hampshire, was issued a citation Thursday, Dec. 31, for retail theft. Lopez was issued a notice to appear in court.

Adam K. Swaggerty, 29, of 10889 Buck Drive, Huntley was arrested Friday, Jan. 1, on a Lake County warrant for criminal trespass and a Winnebago County warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia. Swaggerty was unable to post bond and was taken to the McHenry County Jail.

Jerry K. Soumphonpakdy, 32, of the 400 block of Prospect Street, Elgin, was charged Saturday, Jan. 2, with speeding, possession of alcohol in a vehicle, improper lane usage, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, traveling in a motor vehicle with marijuana in an improper container, and child endangerment. Soumphonpakdy was taken to the McHenry County Jail.

Lake in the Hills

Michael J. Bonder, 48, of the 100 block of Dewhurst Street, Savanna, was charged Thursday, Jan. 7, with one count of battery. Bonder was released on bond.

Marengo

Lisa M. Vosters, 36, of the 800 block of North State Street, Marengo, was arrested Monday, Jan. 4, on an in-state arrest warrant. Vosters was released with a notice to appear.

Woodstock

Alicia L. Juliano, 30, of the 900 block of Gould Street, Woodstock, was arrested Saturday, Jan. 2, on a warrant out of Beloit, Wisconsin, for forgery.

Van W. Brautigam, 52, was charged Saturday, Jan. 2, with criminal trespass to a building.

Jeffrey W. Philpot, 54, of the 600 block of Monterey Road, Palatine, was charged Sunday, Jan. 3, with criminal trespass to land.

Steven C. Eltvedt, 36, of the 3900 block of Ravenglass Ridge, Crystal Lake, was charged Monday, Jan. 4, with criminal trespass to a building and resisting or obstructing a police officer.

Jackson A. Snyder, 18, of the 7900 block of Crescent Drive, Wonder Lake, was charged Monday, Jan. 4, with possession of a controlled substance.
