A vial of the Piizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine at a vaccination clinic Monday, Jan. 24, 2022, at the Algonquin Township office, 3702 Route 14 in Crystal Lake. The clinic was put on by the township to help people get they vaccine, after the Omicron variant made getting shots at other locations harder.

A free COVID-19 vaccination clinic will be held Sunday afternoon at the Dundee Library in East Dundee.

The clinic, a partnership between the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Fox River Valley Library District, will run 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the library, 555 Barrington Ave.

First shot, second shot and boosters will be available, according to a news release. All three COVID-19 vaccines – Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson – will be available with Pfizer available for those 5 and older and the others for those 18 and older.

Those seeking a booster should bring their vaccination card to speed the check-in process. Identification and insurance information is not required.

Walk-ins are welcome, but registration is encouraged to ensure the clinic will be adequately prepared.
