The band Styx – with classics such as “Come Sail Away” – will perform this August at the McHenry County Fairgrounds in Woodstock.
Also performing at the Aug. 21 show will be Tommy DeCarlo, singer and keyboardist for the rock band Boston, according to a Ticketmaster listing.
The show starts at 7 p.m., and tickets still available run from $35 to $45.
The initial version of Styx formed in 1961 in Chicago, according to a biography on Ticketmaster. Although its members were in high school, the group began touring steadily and subsequently produced multiple records. After a half-decadelong separation in the 1980s and a brief breakup in the 1990s, Styx returned with its 1996 Return to Paradise tour.
