District 155 hires girls soccer, wrestling coaches at Prairie Ridge

The District 155 school board finalized two head coaching hirings at Prairie Ridge in its meeting Tuesday night.

Justin Brown was hired as girls soccer coach for the spring 2022 season. Justin Peete was hired as wrestling coach for the winter season, which starts in November.

Brown takes over both soccer programs from Mark Lewis.

Peete wrestled and played football at Johnsburg. He wrestled for a while at NCAA Division II Northern State University in Aberdeen, S.D., and coached on D-III Wisconsin-Whitewater’s staff for the past six seasons.

Peete also has coached with ISI Wrestling since 2013. He takes over for Trey Breeden, who resigned as Wolves coach after four seasons.
