Spring Valley man arrested on drug, weapon charges

A 43-year-old Spring Valley man was arrested on charges of possessing drugs with an intent to deliver and possession of a weapon by a felon.

At about 8:20 p.m. Wednesday, the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office Tactical Response Team assisted the Tri-DENT Drug Task Force in arresting Alex O. Stuggis at 322 W. St. Paul St. in Spring Valley.

Stuggis is being held at the Bureau County Jail. The Spring Valley Police Department and the Bureau County Sheriff’s Office also assisted in the investigation.
