Resurfacing work will begin on Route 351 in La Salle

The Illinois Department of Transportation will begin resurfacing work on Route 351 from Canal Street to Civic Road in La Salle on Monday, July 26.

Residents are advised to use caution in the area while the project is in progress. Motorists should expect some delays and allow for extra time when traveling. Drivers are also encouraged to pay close attention to any changes in road conditions, obey posted speed limits and construction signage.

Parking along Route 351 will be intermittently affected during the project. The project is expected to be completed, weather permitting, by the end of the year.
