IVCC’s Career Services partners in statewide virtual career fair

Illinois Valley Community College is participating in a statewide virtual career fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 9.

A total of 18 community colleges are partnering with the Illinois Community College Career Services Professionals council and the Illinois Department of Employment Security to host the event virtually on Handshake (www.joinhandshake.com).

The fair is free for all job seekers. Employers can participate for $75 by registering at tinyurl.com/IC3SP21. Job seekers register and schedule virtual meetings with employer participants at tinyurl.com/YourFutureNow21.

“We’re fortunate to participate in the virtual career fair in lieu of our annual job fair,” IVCC’s Career and Student Services associate Lisa Witalka said. “Our job seekers and employers will have access to a wider audience.”
