Celebrate La Salle partners with state to offer Johnson & Johnson vaccination clinic

Clinic will be open from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at 143 Marquette St.

Anyone looking for an opportunity to receive a Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine will have the opportunity during the Celebrate La Salle Festival this weekend.

The city of La Salle is partnering with the state of Illinois to offer a vaccine clinic from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 24, at 143 Marquette St. during the annual festivities.

No appointment is necessary to receive a vaccination and the vaccines will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The Illinois Department of Public Health has stated the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is authorized and recommended for individuals 18 years or older. This is a one-dose vaccine.
