Spring Valley Lions Club, Angelo’s Restaurant team up to buy 21 air bottles for fire department

Fundraising efforts raise $9,000

The Spring Valley Lions Club partnered with the Spring Valley Fire Department and Angelo’s Restaurant for a fundraiser.

All of the proceeds will benefit the fire department for the purchase of new air bottles to be used in service.

The organizations sold tickets in advance for a chicken and fries dinner that was all delivered curbside.

Donations also were accepted from individuals as well as local businesses. The fundraiser was able to collect a total of $9,000 for the local fire department.

With the funds that were raised, Spring Valley firefighters were able to purchase 21 air bottles.
