Streator police: Shots fired Labor Day, but with no injury

Streator police say shots were fired late Labor Day -- nobody was hurt -- and they have identified a suspect.

In a Tuesday report, the police department said an individual reported being shot at around 10:46 p.m. Monday in the 300 block of Sterling Street. There were no injuries.

“A suspect has been identified in the incident and no immediate threat to the public followed the incident,” police said. “There will be no further information released at this time.”
